Outfits that are coordinated but not matching look great on camera. Being comfortable in your clothes is important too, otherwise, it will show on your photos if you are not. Avoid logos, lettering, and distracting graphics. Pick a color palette that you will enjoy hanging on your wall all year. 

I am a big fan of simple for the studio! White tank tops,  jeans, and bare feet is perfect for relaxed portrature. For newborn sessions keep it very simple and in one key, Whites work best for tops, jeans or comfortable trousers or even all white, greys work great too.

For Home sessions and outdoor photography, block colours work great, avoid patterns, prints logos or stripes. feel free to accessorise and go all out for your special family moments
